Sean (Playback Groove): A Hidden Gem

You might not know it, but Sean (Playback Groove) has been behind the scenes, working with some of the biggest producers in the UK and even hitting the UK pop music charts.

By day, Sean is a sought-after engineer, crafting sound for Netflix and other major platforms. But his true passion lies in house music, specifically the soulful, jazzy sounds of New York.

It was during a visit to Moloto Studios, his impressive recording space, that Levi discovered Sean's incredible talent. Impressed by his unique blend of jazz, Motown, and hip-hop, Levi decided to put their own project on hold to focus on Sean's solo work.

Sean's ability to seamlessly blend genres and create timeless house music is truly remarkable. He's a multi-instrumentalist who can effortlessly switch between piano, bass, and synthesizers, crafting tracks that are both sophisticated and dancefloor-ready as easily as if he is just out buying chewing gum.

Recently, Sean has graced the decks at two major Mas O Menos events, captivating audiences with sets featuring nothing but his own productions. It’s absolutely insane. It's clear that Sean is a force to be reckoned with, and we're thrilled to have him join the Mas O Menos Records family.
